Important limitations

Planning estimate, not an entitlement decision

The estimator uses 2025 income for the July 2026 to June 2027 payment period and July–September 2026 monthly amounts. Service Canada may use estimated current-year income after retirement or another income change. The estimator assumes that any selected social-security-agreement qualification or sponsorship exception has already been confirmed.

The Government of Canada has announced a 1.4% increase for October–December 2026. The estimator will be updated after the complete official October payment table is available; it does not substitute projected amounts for published figures.

Incarceration, involuntary separation for reasons beyond a couple’s control, month-specific age changes, retroactive adjustments, and every treaty-specific qualification test are not modelled. Confirm important results with Service Canada.
